  Edith Citrullo Bio
Edith Citrullo is an Etobicoke artist who interprets landscapes, florals and still life's in broad, strong strokes. She
makes powerful statements with a vibrant palette that ranges from very dramatic to subtle and dreamy.

Edith began to pursue her interest in art through a series of courses in oil painting, drawing  and pastels. Her interesdt in the use of acrylics evolved after exploring the different art medias.
To further enhance the use of acrylics, Edith tool workshops under the guidance of Tina Poplawski.

Edith is interested in the various effects one can achieve with the use of acrylics in conjunction with the other elements such as molding paste.  She has worked on a series of still life and landscape canvases utilizing this technique and found it excitingly challenging. Acrylics allow her the freedom to interpret the various subject matters in a rather impressionistic approach.  Exhibitions: 1995- "Women Reflecting Women", Niagara Falls Art Gallery, Niagara Falls, Ontario.
