John Carvalho was born in the busy City of Toronto, moved out to Mississauga in 1991 and since then has been discovering Mississauga.

John is a freelance photographer who grew up always around cameras.  It has become his passion.
 
John has done a lot of work for the City of Mississauga. He has provided photos for a Tourism Brochure to discover Mississauga; photos for a builder on Mississauga Road for display and photos used by Mississauga News.
 
For the last two years John as been the official photographer for the Port Credit Terry Fox Run, which is so close to his heart.

More recently, John's work was displayed at Visual Arts Mississauga Centre at Riverwood during December.
 
John has also done work for Toronto, he was invited by a Toronto School to be the official photographer for Toronto's Torch Relay where 27 children were selected from 4 schools in Toronto to be flag bearers.
