 In Memorium Don't Drink and Drive |
Notice - This link is no longer
working as of 2003, and I was unable to find any other reference
for Al, but I'm leaving this here as a marker to remember Al, and to
remind you that drinking and driving is stupid and criminal.
Al Affeldt was a talented musician in the prime of life, who was killed in car crash on June 18/98 along with two other people. His girlfriend Corinne, was badly injured in the crash. The crash was caused by a drunk driver. This was the third time the driver had been charged with drunken driving. That person still has their licence, showing the useless laws in our country, and the even more useless judges! Al had set up a site where a wide
assortment of services for musicians are addressed. He had lots
of great information there plus lots of links. Too bad
it's gone now. Please remember Al next time you think about
driving after having a drink. |
