Oct 1 - Neil Rhodes

In December 2002, Neil was pondering what he was going to do with the rest of his life. While browsing through a motivational book, he read one simple yet powerful question: “If you could do anything for the rest of your life, what would it be?” He immediately thought of stand-up comedy.

After a few months of writing and preparation, Neil performed his first show on April 30, 2003, at a popular bar in downtown Toronto. Nervous in front of his 26 friends and family who came to see his debut, he started his set and soon had them and the crowd of strangers doubled over in laughter. At the end of his ten-minute show, Neil, after 27 years, knew for certain what he would do for the rest of his life.

Today, Neil’s very clean act encompasses a witty brand of humour with a professional delivery. His topics range from his dating life, or lack thereof, to growing up in Toronto and current world events. Neil is dedicated to his craft of stand-up comedy; he performs or writes material every day. As of June 1, 2005, he has done well over 250 shows.

Neil has not only had the pleasure of collaborating with some of Canada’s top comics but has also performed at some of the premier comedy clubs in North America. It won’t be long until he’s at a top comedy club near you.

Nov 26 - The notorious and often in jail, Blind Melon
 Davis.

Blind Melon is a genuine street musician from Alabama.  He learned his guitar chops from his daddy and he learned to survive on the streets from being thrown out of the house at 6 years old.

He has led a troubled life, filled with ups and downs and  crime sprees when he goes on a drining binge.   However, Blid Melon has been a good friend to many down and outers over the years, and remains dedicated to The Blues.

Blind Melon Davis has a CD called "Memories of my Daddy".

This poignent collection of original blues material ranges from whimsical to obscene.  Blind is NEVER politically correct and doesn't really care who he offends.
Dec 10 - Luke Andrews

Luke as not provided us with a bio, so we are going to wing it. Luke is a young and enthusiastic singer/songwriter who loves to perform. He plays guitar, harp and Djembe, and by using a loop device, managed to play all three at the same time.  Luke's enthusiasm is infections, although his pushiness may land him trouble at some point.
